Social Activity 1: Guided Tour of Vilnius Streets – Symbols of the University's History

Explore how Vilnius University has shaped the city for more than four centuries. This guided walking tour through Vilnius Old Town visits sites closely connected with the University's history, offering an engaging introduction to the city's cultural and intellectual heritage.
Social Activity 2: Guided Tour of St. John's Church Bell Tower

Discover the history of the Bell Tower, the people who have influenced the history of Vilnius
University, and the story of Foucault's Pendulum. The tour concludes with a visit to the top
of the Bell Tower for panoramic views of Vilnius Old Town.

perspective of Vilnius Old Town.

Registration for this activity opens at the registration desk on 27 August.
Complete your visit to Vilnius with a guided tour of the Museum of Occupations and Freedom Fights. Located in the former headquarters of the KGB (the Soviet Union's state security and secret police), the museum offers insight into Lithuania's experience of Soviet
occupation, political repression, and the struggle to regain independence. The tour includes the former KGB prison and its preserved cells, providing a powerful perspective on this important chapter of Lithuania's history.
