EAIR Forum Cork 2024

Practical information

We are delighted to invite you to submit a paper to the 46th Annual EAIR Forum 2024, which is to be hosted by University College Cork, Ireland. The theme of the 2024 EAIR Cork Forum is “Sustainability, Resilience and Wellbeing”. The Forum which will be held at University College Cork, located close to the centre of Cork city opens on Wednesday 21st August 2024 with an evening welcome reception and closes on Friday 23rd August 2024 in the late afternoon. Keynote speakers will include Professor Ellen Hazelkorn, Professor Emerita, Technological University Dublin, Ireland, and Dr Rajesh Tandon, Founder-President at Participatory Research in Asia (PRIA).

We are excited about the potential for this 46th EAIR Annual Forum and we sincerely hope that you will be in a position to join us. The closing date for receipt of proposals for the Forum will be 31st January 2024. 

Important dates:
  • 15 July 2024: Deadline full paper submission for participants to the best paper award
  • 15 August 2024: Deadline powerpoint submission for the presentations

EAIR OUTSTANDING PAPER AWARD! 

EAIR invites colleagues who are 35 years of age or younger at the time of the Forum to participate in the competition for the EAIR OUTSTANDING PAPER AWARD.

The 46th EAIR Cork Forum on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd August 2024 will be hosted at the University’s Western Gateway building, which is within walking distance of several major hotels and of the city centre. The Western Gateway Building.  See  Maps of the UCC Campus | University College Cork .   The EAIR Welcome Reception will take place in the Aula Maxima, Main Quadrangle, UCC commencing at 6pm on Wednesday 21st August 2024.
