The Issue 2/3 of 2025 will bring together a set of articles that address timely questions in higher education research and practice. The issue includes work on the entrepreneurial university, drawing on faculty perspectives from two Egyptian universities, as well as an article on the challenges of providing doctoral supervision for academic colleagues.
Further contributions explore the determinants of sustainable quality education outcomes, with a focus on working conditions, and review what the literature tells us about universities’ engagement in social innovation. The issue also features an article on embedding societal impact into education, research, and service, using business schools as an illustrative case.
Notably, the article by Ana Godonoga has been selected as the winner of the EAIR Outstanding Paper Award, highlighting its strong contribution to ongoing discussions on societal impact in higher education.
